The doves I hunt come over high and fast. What kind of ammo and choke should I use. I shoot? I shoot a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge. I am thinking of going to a high brass round. I am shooting Rio's now, # 8's in a modified choke.

Thats exactly what I was shooting today Rio 8 out of my Beretta a400 extreme Unico. On the ones in range similar to skeet I shot 7 out of 7. However on the high fast ones at first I couldnt hit them. The way I found out what my problem was was on a large flock flying over I had led the lead dove by 3 barrel lenghts, when I shot I dropped the 3rd one back! So next group I led them by 6 or 7 (which seemed to be way to far in my head) and dropped him! So you more than likely were not leading them enough.
