    Glock 34/35 shooters step in.

I shot my 35 with lone wolf 40 to 9 conversion yesterday and the 9mm barely ejects. Some rounds would just spin on top of the slide. The barrel is the ported version. Unsure of the spring rate, since it came used with gun. I was shooting bulk Remington rounds.

Should I try a 11 or 13 lb spring? Btw, it shot lights out with both barrel.

I'm suprised you are having difficulty ejecting with factory rounds. I shot G34 and G35 in IDPA for a while with bunny fart reloads that would frequently leave the spent case spinning on top of the slide. A lighter recoil spring is the answer. If you can find someone who is willing to loan you several recoil springs of different weights you would be able to try before you buy.

The other option is clipping coils from the recoil spring you have. I use a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to cut the spring. Go slow and check often.

The good news is unlike 1911's you can't damage your gun with too light a recoil spring.

What gr was the bullet? If shooting 115gr, try 124gr and see if that helps before going with a spring change.

It was 115. I think those springs are only $8 each, so I'm going to order a few to try out. Anyway to identify none Glock springs?

+1 with bluelund79. I would alsao try a different brand of ammo befor I start replacing parts although that is the next step if ammo change doesnt make it run right.

9mm uses a different extractor and ejector that's your problem. 34 And 35 use the same springs. Always use the proper magazines, extractor and ejector if you are going to use a conversion barrel for self defense.

Where are you located? I've got an 11lb spring with ss rod you cooks try out if you're close.

IMO this is an internet myth. Possible on paper but in my experience not likely. I ran probably 50,000 rounds through a G35 with a G34 slide. Likewise a G22 with a G17 slide. Never changed ejectors. Never a failure to eject.

Ive had some that required an ejector change to function and some that ran flawlessly with all. .40 parts. Its dependant on the individual gun

After comparing the installed spring and the factory one that came with the gun, it looks like it was just a factory replacement 17lb spring. At most a 15lber. I took it apart which was a task on it's on, since it was assemble with red locktite and ordered a 13lb to start with. That should work with 115 gr bullet. It should also work with the 40 cal also.

If I have to go to an 11lb spring, I'll just sell the set up and buy/trade for a G34.

Its not an internet myth. The ejector and extractor parts are different and the correct parts will eject the brass much further. I have several glocks I shoot with 40-9 kkm conversion barrels.

From what I can tell the 34 and 35 have different factory extractors. I think I will try the spring and if it still has issues with extraction, I will sell the G35 and buy a G34. BTW, just picked up a G41 and can't wait to try it out on a doe or hog.

I guess this could be an option and fun little project.

Extractor is 15 dollars, ejector/trigger housing is 8 dollars. Cheap easy fix.
