I'm in the process of mounting a new Zeiss scope on my sendero. I want to use Warne rings but need need some input on a quality base. I would like the more tradition Weaver style base but Warne does not make one to fit a 700. And other good quality bases that will fit Warne rings. Thanks for the help.

Warene rings are just your standard weaver rings if I am not mistaken. If so you can run anything from a weaver rail to a nigh force rail. Depending on what you want to do with the rifle you add in 20 moa drop or just 0 moa. Egw makes a decent rail with recoil lug for cheap price. Those rails are all 1 piece. You could go with some leupold bases which are a two piece. Personally go with a 1 piece with 0 moa. -

Not a problem. The difference you will see in price between them all is what they are made of. The Nightforce is going to be harden steel while the cheaper price ones will be Aluminum alloy. Unless your gun will take some serious abuse aka dragging on the ground and dropping it, aluminum will work just fine. With the 7mag I would just make sure it has a recoil lug just for extra safety.Comment
