    Gun Values

I'm going buy these from a friends wife.
I have my idea of a "Fair" price for these three guns...
Just wondered what you guys thought.

    Remington Model 31 20ga
    Remington 870 1970ish 20ga
Remington 600 6mm. Not sure on scope..

    $475-500 on the R31

That is a 60's vintage , fixed 4x ??? scope, scout rifle or intermediate eye relief IER
(edit: front objective should read M8 2x .... I'm now thinking its a 2 power scope)

    Working on other prices

Mohawk might be worth $750-850 , looks very clean

870 Wingmaster prices are all over the place, I'm guessing $300 is a fair price

one thing for certain, prices will never go down on those guns

I'd go about $750 for the whole bunch.

I'm pretty sure the standard 600 was vent rib and the Mohawk had no vent rib. Either way I would like to have that 600

Les, if that 870 has a 3" receiver, let me know how much you are wanting for it. That is, if you want to sell it. I've been looking for one for a while now. Got a Hasting premium slug barrel looking for a home. If it's a 2-3/4" only receiver, I'll have to pass.

That's a little light IMO. If it were me I'd sleep better at $1K for the lot.

It probably is. None of the guns appeal to me. The shotguns are not in the best of condition and in my opion are not worth a lot. Maybe $150 apiece. Old shotguns are a dime a dozen. I'm probably low on the Mohawk at $450 but they are fairly common. So I'd agree that $1000 would be a fair price if the buyer really wanted them.

The blueing on both of the shotguns is worn too much for me. I think you're off on those Blake...no offense. While I respect the OP wanting to place a "fair" price on the lot...the value is in the 600! That said, I'd like to see better pics of it. None of those guns have been safe Queens!

The Mohawk with out the vent rib is 500 to 550.
You might be a ble to give a it the 550 if it's mint butt there are a lot of them on the market a nearly mint rifle with the solid base witch is worth something and the vent rib is bringing 600

Thanks, guys. Like I said... My friend passed, and I'm trying to help his wife out with these guns.. Wanting to be fair, but not way overpay for them... The two shotguns... I had in the $300ish ea price... The 6mm is what was throwing me off...

                      Same gun minus the scope...

                        L,

IMO , on the M600 ... 222 and the 6mm are the 2 most desirable calibers. Everybody who admires the M600 wants either caliber

the M8 2x LEU on top is worth $75-$100 , guestimate rifle value and go from there.

                        I threw out $750-850 b/c I think it's worth more than $600 but less than $1000

$300 each on the shotguns is fair and honest

                          Les,
I get what you're saying but judging from the pics...IMHO you're being more than generous on the shotguns @ $300 ea. I see what appears to be quite a bit of surface rust and blueing wear. I'd personally like them to be in better condition for that price. They may be worth that but IMO you'd be hard pressed to resale them for that...even at a gun show.
