I have little experience with them, but all the ones I've used, I've not been a fan of, except the Serpa by blackhawk. Fubus, DeSantis, Uncle Mikes and a few others I've tried all damaged the finish on my guns in very short order, like 10 draw strokes and they looked like they had been riding in a holster for years and drawn often. Maybe its just me

Can't rule out comptac. I've had a few uncle mikes, a bladetec(which was very nice), and my current comptac. It really depends on what your wanting it for. Concealment I'd say crossbreed. I had a white hat and it was ok but nothing special IMO. If you want a paddle holster for the ranch check out comptac.

Tucker and Byrd. (Texas leather craft) He makes a kydex holster that is leather lined. Pretty awesome.
