    Re sighting aftermarket pistol sights

Generally speaking, when installing after marker sights (in this case a Glock 17) have you found the need to resight or can you get them lined up enough just by eye balling it? I'm pretty meticulous and feel like I have them aligned straight but I don't know how much can make a difference at 7-25 yards.

    Just curious about y'all's experiences!!

No way I'd trust my safety to "eye ballin" my sights. That sounds like going hunting with a rifle that Cabelas or Bass Pro had bore sighted the scope.

Seriously, get to the range or somewhere and throw some rounds downrange from a steady rest and then verify with a few mags standing in your usual stance.

Always shoot it in after jacking with your sights.

No I would never not shoot it! I'm going tomorrow for sure but wonder if I'm gonna spend some of my hour jacking with my sights haha.

Just carry your hammer and punch and allen wrench with you to the range. Put a handful downrange, make the adjustment, done.

Well my front sight came loose after 30 rounds so I went ahead and bought some blue loctite. Not the best range trip lol

You can do whatever you feel comfortable with.

              What would I do?

I'd take it to the range and re-zero.

              Why?

Cause I'm old and set in my ways. Maybe one of the reasons I'm old.
