    Best Tactical Scope for AR

I have a KAC SR15 Mod 1 and I want to get a good scope for it. My EOTech is just not enough for it. This thing is a tack driver and it deserves some decent optics. What do you guys recommend? I am kinda leaning to 1x-6x and 1x-8x. I could use some advice from some of you tactical gurus. Thanks.

    Do you have a budget?

The Hensoldt line of optics represents the premium military/tactical series of riflescopes and spotting scopes produced by Germany's Carl Zeiss Optronics GmbH. Hendsolt products are expensive, to be sure, but they offer many features found in no other tactical optics.

      This one should be good.

Under $2K for sure. I'd prefer around $1K or less but I understand that may not have a decent option.

If you could go with a fixed power scope then you could get into Schmidt & bender for around your budget or a variable Steiner. I really like the Steiner scopes cause the optics quality is not to far behind the Schmidt & bender. Just my $0.02

In a 1x the SWFA 1-6 is real hard to beat.

that SWFA with the Geiselle trigger and Surfire 60 rd for $1129 makes it even harder to beat.

                  Leupold MK6 1-6
                  Vortex Razor II 1-6

These would be my first two choices. If you want a little cheaper I have been very happy with my Leupold MK4 1.5-5. I have also been somewhat impressed with my Vortex Viper PST 1-4. Lots of choices out there. Look through as many as you can before you buy!

                    ~$1k - SWFA 1-6

$1k - $1.5k - us optics 1.5-6, vortex Razor HD gen II 1-6, Nightforce 1-4, Bushnell smrs 1-6.5 (depending on reticle but can go up to $2k)

                    $1.5k-$2k - us optics 1-8, Leupold Mark 6, Bushnell SMRS 1-8

                    >$2k - Leupold mark 8, S&B 1-8

there ya go......I really want to get this setup for myself, it would be great on the 6.8 I'm building, but I'm pinching pennies to buy a Ranger 900 Crew and an extra $1100 just wouldn't squeeze into my budget until after the 1st of the year.

I could've sworn I copied and pasted this, but just realized it wasn't in my post

I like my Bushnell SMRS 1-6.5, very good glass for the money imo. The BTR-1 reticle is a good mix for CQB work and still get the job done at long range.
