400 Remington donor action
545 Mcmillan stock
300 rock creek barrel
225 jewell trigger
129 PTG bottom metal
40 badger recoil lug
240 atlas quick detach bipod
140 cerakoting
1025 for all the gunsmith work including fluting of the barrel and bolt, tac knob, chambering, blueprinting the action, opened the scope base holes to 8-40, muzzle brake and install etc
This started out as a pretty simple build. But the more I got into it the more and more it started adding up. I wish I had just gone with a stiller action to begin with but like I said I had no plans to go this far with this build. It just kinda happened.
Its a lot of money into a rifle (for me anyway) but I am happy I built it. Just the knowledge I have learned while doing it is going to make me a better shooter. Not to mention all the pseudo friends I have made while discussing it and trying to decide what to do. I am going to shoot tomorrow and go back to work Monday to make some money so I can start my next buildLast edited by CADDOKILLER; 08-15-2014, 02:52 PM.
