CHL application question

Started filling out the State application and came to the part about prior arrests/convictions .
Anyway I got a little Class C misdemeanor over 10 years ago and can't for the life of me remember a thing about dates etc. It was deferred and expunged. It's noting that will get my application denied but do I need to call the courthouse and get the details or can I just say what the issue was and that I can't remember the dates? They do run a background check anyway so..........................
How to proceed?

I had the same problem. Called the courthouse and they gave me the information. It was surprisingly painless.

I just put the year in and posted a note can't remember the exact date and sent it in never heard a word about it passed no problem

As long as you get the dates close and declare it, its usually no problem. You have problems when you dont declare it.

I got it figured out and declared.
Now the wait begins.
