Who hunts with a fixed power scope

I was wondering who hunts with a fixed power scope. What kind, what power, and do you like it and have you had any issues.

I've been hunting with my 25-06 with a Redfield x4 scope since the mid 80's. No problems with it but I'm looking to upgrade to a 4x12 soon. Just getting older. Hunted in Hill Country and West Texas.

I hunted with a Ruger 25-06 with a x7 for a long time. The scope is on my 30-30 now.

I have a .264, a .260, a .223 and a .221 Fireball all set up with 6x42 Leupolds. Rock solid and no issues of any kind.

I have 6x42 Leupolds as well on a few different rifles. Feel confident out to 300 yards with those scopes.

I use 3x9 scopes but always keep them set at 4 if that helps.

I have a leupold FX12 on a 243 in low light I wish I could go to a lower focus setting... i don't hunt with it very often for that reason. I have a VX3 3.5-10x50 setting around in the safe to replace it but just haven't put it on...

In for the responses. I've also been contemplating doing this with my .270. Very rarely do I ever take my scope off 4x. I just like the wider field of view lower power affords.

I hunted with my old Winchester 1917 30/06 with Redfield 4x fixed for almost 15 years. It may come out of the safe later this year if I get to hunt in WI

Wow I'm surprised by all the low power hunting scopes. I guess I'm odd cause I never turn mine down lower than 10x and prefer it to be around 16.
