Brownings are ugly as hell. Although I own a couple of them.

I have always been fond of the BAR in 7mm Rem Mag with the BOSS.
Just never got around to buying one.
Browning does have some nice style to their rifles.

I "passed" down my Browning 270 to one of my son's a time ago. Need to search my pics on computer and post it.....one of the best looking stocks I have ever seen on a rifle, IMO. It was so nice I HATED to take it out and spent more time checking for dings after a hunt I just finally passed it on. When I had my Gun Store in Lubbock, Hunter's Paradise, I ordered one for a customer...but when it came in...I ordered him another one and put it in my safe.

Love browning a-bolts!! I guess that's all we have in the safe other than a BAR 30-06 and a BLR 358ss. Biased to say the least, but a 300win a-bolt medallion will be the next gun I buy.

Besides working well, the looks make it easier to get your money

                  Love my Browning A-BoltII

I will vouch for the laminate finish flaking if you hit it. Kinda sucks, but it sure is purrrrrty and dream to shoot.
