    Questions about suppressors

    I have decided to take the plunge, I'm going to be surprising my 300 black out with plans to use it on a .308 and 5.56 as well. Also plan on getting rimfire can at the same time to use on a .22 or and a .17 hmr.

    Plan on going through silencer shop.

    My questions;

    1. Is it better to use their trust for $130 or use an attorney?

    2. If I use an attorney who do you recommend?

    3. For the 300 black out I'm looking at the Griffin armament recce 7 ($716) any reviews on it or other suggestion around the same price point?

    4. For the rimfire can I'm looking at Griffin checkmate QD ($296) any reviews or other suggestions?

    Any other information you think would be helpful would be greatly appreciated.

    Buy a spectre ii for the rimfire.

    I would use an attorney. A good one. Sean Cody, Cole Bryan, etc.

    No comment on the 7.62 can as I haven't ran one yet. But there is a reason they aren't super popular. There's a ton of good options. Don't let a $100-200 difference make a decision for you. Buy once buy right. You're pretty well stuck with it.

      1). An attorney worth his salt will be there to answer questions or even represent you if you get in trouble. I used Sean Cody in Houston. Both Cole Bryan and Chris Bass come highly recommended in the DFW area.

      2). See above

      3). No experience with those. I use an AAC 7.62 SDN-6. It was designed specifically for the 300 blackout.

      4). No experience with that can. I use the Silencerco Spectre II.
