Vortex Strikefire II

Anybody use one and your thoughts?? Thinking about getting one to put on my M&P15.

I love my strikefire. I have the original with the power button on the side(that's moved to the back on the 2 I believe). I'm sure the 2nd gen will be awesome! Holds zero great, I've sighted mine in once a few weeks after it was released and it's still dead on after all the bumpy ranger rides all over west texas, chasing hogs in east texas and through several 3 gun matches. You won't be disappointed. Battery life is great once you ditch the crappy battery it comes with.

Wow, looks good. The ads say "tested with .375 H&H Magnum for 1000 rounds..." nitrogen filled, etc. It's parallax-free "past 50 yards." I'm not sure how important that is, especially if you do a lot of close-range shooting.

Think I am gonna get one but I want just the red dot only and that seems to be the harder one to find. Will call Cabelas or Academy to see if they have it. Thanks gator89.

Take note everybody. Because i hate vortex riflescopes.

Ive ran their red dots on several SBRs. From 22 long rifle to 300 blackout. Full auto and semi. They ran fine for a range optic. Looks great through a PVS14 too

The cheap primary arms red dot works good too.

Disclaimer!! I wouldnt expect one to hold up on a big gun and i wouldnt run it on a gun my life or a hunt counted on YET. I need to put one through a beating to see that but i cant say they wont work....

Check out the SPARC II....very nice, more compact and 2 moa dot.
