I have a 13" Troy Alpha Battle rail. Looks great, solidly mounts to rifle, stout as heck and good grip in the wet weather. But it is a little heavier than I would like. I will probably trade up but as of yet I have no idea to what. Maybe a shorter version of the same model.

I like the look of the handgaurd overlapping the suppressor. So, I went with a spikes tactical.

Troy alpha 12" on a 16" barrel



11" Noveske NSR on a 12.5" barrel. Love this hand guard.



I like the NSR so much I'm changing out the rail on a my 8" Noveske 300 Blackout to one.

JP Rapid Configureation Free Float. I've got a XL (15.5") on a SS 18" bl. with a 15" xl rail on top. They threw in the standard 4" rail and a 2" modular rail. They normally come with a 4 modular and a 2" top rail. But they saw what I was doing when ordering, and gave me a modular 2" instead of the 2" top rail . The beauty in this handguard is when changing the rails around, holes are predrilled and tapped. No backing plates needed for rails. Also came with two sling swivel studs that fit the pre tapped holes. Lots of options on rails and parts. As well as 45degree mounting options as holes are drilled for 45 degrees as well.

Not particularly... Got a couple Shorty barrels (10") on the way and a couple 16's in the safe... So just seeing what's out there and can figure out what fits where later.

We put one of these one my bro's shorty 300 blk a few weeks ago... It was a PIA but I like the look... One of the biggest reasons I started looking. However, I hope we never have to take it off because it ain't gonna be fun.
