Anyone have the SIG SAUER. TACOPS 1911

I am debating the TACOPS
or
The newer NICKLE plated version.

They are literally the same gun, but look.

I carry a compact 1991 - COLT. Since (1994)
and have a KIMBER full sized so am familiar w them..

Honest opinions PLEASE . GOOD+BAD thoughts.

( If you don't have one or shot on--- please don't comment and try to CHANGE MY MIND or spin my to an STI or something else )

I am looking for feedback on a specific weapon/s.

i have a sig sauer tacops 1911 carry model. Never had a jam with it, great trigger, but it's heavy with the rail - probably because I always have a light on it. I don't shoot it as well as my Kimber 1911 5" but it's a nice gun. Also, really like the magwell, as it really does help with reloading.

Honestly, if I had to do it again, I would get a Kimber but I'm not sure if they offer a commander size 1911 with a rail?

Hmmmmmm.

So you do prefer Kimber.

But a compact 1911 will shoot differently than a 5"
Have you compared it to any other similar sized 1911s.

I much prefer my TACOPS over both Kimbers I owned.

Unlike the Kimber, they have been stone cold reliable both suppressed and unsuppressed.

They are heavy though.
