Looking for input on a good 7.62 can. Been researching the AAC's and some some Silencerco's. What others should I look at? What's the best bang for the buck, something that just doesn't drain the wallet?

Yep. More info will be helpful.

Which AAC are you looking at? The 7.62 SDN-6 won't do the magnum 30 cals.
The MK13 SD and 300-TM will but I have been asking questions about those and nobody seems to have run either.
I hear way more about the socom 7.62-RC, TBA 30p-1 or 30 BA... But they are definitely not the cheapest cans out there. I've shot behind the Thunderbeast and was impressed.
Scott Bitner sold me on the specwar, so we have one in jail. And for the price of the harvester I couldn't pass it up so I have one of those in jail too.
And then a lot of people here like the YHM phantom.
So the next question is what's your price range?

So now you need to look at your host... I've got 6 guns already threaded 1/2x28 that I want to run with the harvester. I buy one tail cap for the harvester for somewhere around 70 bucks and I can run it on all 6. So the direct thread on is going to save me quite a bit of coin.
If you buy a QD can and want to run it on 6 guns you must buy an adapter for each gun... Some QD's are quite ugly, if that matters to you. However they are all expensive 50-150 bucks each. So for my 6 guns it would be 300-900 bucks in QD adapters... If you choose a QD can definitely look into what the adapters cost... Some are crazy expensive.
Then you need each barrel threaded. Morgan Richey will thread your barrels for 50 bucks a piece and he stands behind his work. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/for...pics/5008617/1
If your barrels aren't already threaded I highly recommend Morgan. You might be close enough to not have to ship..
So now.. Go research, think about what your guns need to be suppressor ready and make an informed decision.

Can Input
The Specwar is a good can but it is a pig at 25oz.
The Silencerco Saker 7.62 is supposed to be a good can as well and will fit multiple QD mounts with the correct back caps.
I really like my YHM 7.62 titanium. Very light weight but pricey and the mounts aren't the prettiest but very functional.
I haven't seen the harvester in person but it looks like a good can. I would like to see what the back cap looks like installed on the rifle without the can attached.
I second the recommendation on Morgan Richey but he can be difficult to contact at times.

Probably about to try to get a 6mm, 243, and some others his way to be threaded.
A wise man told me: "Once you shoot suppressed you won't want to shoot any other way." That man was MikeD. So surely he won't argue with that

for me I have flung up a bolt 308 long barrel gun with the SDN6 and it was fine, I have flung up a few ARs with the YHM Phantom M2QD 762 and its fine, when it come to weight I don't care to much as long as it quietens the round down sub or super to me it doesn't matter. I wanted a can that would host MANY guns so that's why I like the QD mount.
