    AR-15 Sling Advice Please

What is the most comfortable options for a sling and methods of attachment for an AR-15?

I don't mean for tactical considerations, I'm just talking about for getting the rifle from point A to point B as in varmint hunting.

I have an electronic call and other gear to carry and it can all get somewhat cumbersome. I've been using a padded hunting sling with swivel studs like you would find standard on most bolt action rifles. But I'm just wondering if there's a more comfortable way, since the AR-15 doesn't really lay on the shoulder in quite the same way most other rifles do.

    Thoughts?

Not even kidding I was about to post a thread about the same thing. I'll be following this one

I prefer the 3 point slings because it gives you the option to carry normally, or up front.

Urban ERT slings. Can be one or two point and a very good product.

Been doing a little TBH searching for related threads and found this interesting post...

Have never considered turning my sling around and just carrying the AR muzzle down. Might have to try that when I get home and see how much difference it makes.

I really like the magpul ms3 (with quick adjustment slide) especially for 2-point cross shoulder carry muzzle down in the back.

I have one magpul ms3 as mentioned above and one troy vtac. I like them both and they work pretty similarly to me. I can carry a myriad of ways due to the adjustability and can carry hands free to carry calls etc with either.
