    Ghost Triggers-Questions on Models

Is the Edge model that much better than the standard 3.5? If so, besides the self cleaning, what makes it that much better? Its going into my G20 hunting pistol, so having a slightly nicer trigger and reset will be the intended gain, without changing the springs. I run reloads and don't want to make things more complicated than necessary....

I prefer the Ultimate over the Edge. I just wasn't that impressed with the Edge.

Thank you Sir. What seems to be the overall difference to you? I'm just looking at the trigger connector as the last piece of the gun....its already got ghost ring night sights, stainless guide rod, and is at BigTex Outdoors getting cosmetic enhancements. All I am looking for is to clean up the trigger pull and reset. I am a huge fan of the original Ghost connector in my 19. It cleaned up the trigger and made a more positive reset.

As you know I fitted the rocket connector in 2 different glocks... I like it but I feel like I could have done better.

On the g27 I just picked up I've been pondering the same idea as you. I wanna see if all that fitting is worth it so I'm gonna drop either an ultimate or the edge in the 27.

The edge is supposedly smoother after you take up the slack... But Mike D is still sticking to his guns with the ultimate.. And he knows a thing or two about glocks... However I feel it's a personal decision.

I may just buy them both and the one I like less drop in the G 30 house sweeper.

I hear ya. I asked the same question elsewhere and got the epic try brand x replies. I think Ill just pull the trigger on the Ultimate and patiently await my toys return. Ill post the before and after pics once its completed.

Just ran mine today. Really shortened up the reset. Gonna play with the springs some and see if I can get it a little lighter.

Went with Mike D's suggestion and just purchased the Ultimate sans the spring pack. I'll do a write following the cosmetic make over review courtesy of Big Tex Outdoors

You should have at least bought the 6# trigger spring. Bypass the lighter striker and safety plunger spring on a carry gun.

Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post. But the Ultimate felt smoother to me than the Edge and I didn't notice the lack of the "bump" with the Edge as it claims.

I can always upgrade the trigger spring. Gun is currently being transformed, so I have plenty of time to order and have shipped. Thank you for the follow up Sir.

Done deal, its ordered.....Now I'm really looking forward to seeing how much better this gun really can be. I'll even sandbag rest it and see how much better I can make the handloads. Just picked up some Accurate #9 and Winchester LPP to see how far it can pushed while maintaining good accuracy. Looks like I may have to take it out in the public land and find some hogs, we are almost fresh out in the freezer

It's worth it to add the 6# spring, trust me. I've done a bunch of different triggers in Glocks and the Ultimate connector with the 6# trigger spring is about as good as it's gonna get with a drop in connector. There are better kits that take a lot more work or a lot more $$. But for around $30 the ultimate and spring is the way to go.

Good luck and report back when you get it installed.

Yes Sir, will do! Definitely getting excited for it. I'll do up some experimental loads this upcoming holiday weekend. Got some 8x57 and 45acp to finish up during the week after work as well.
