9mm Ammo Availablilty

It's been a LONG time since I even bothered bying Pistol Ammo.. I'll be getting a 9mm (HI-Point) but got a question: How's the Ammo supply & price at say Academy or Walmart or should I just go Online ...

9mm is not that hard to find, most places I've seen get shipments multiple times a week for the cheaper ammo.

What I'm seeing is that most military calibers are readily available right now. The hard to find stuff is .243, .380, and .22 LR.

Easy to find. A little higher than it used to be but not bad at all.

I was at Walmart in pecos the other day and they had about 2k rounds of 9mm.

It's a hit or miss with this ammo lately in Austin. Walmart had some ammo named Perfecta, which is distributed through Tula, but made in Italy. Priced really good at under $14 bucks for 115g fmj's. I shot a hundred rounds and was very pleased with the outcome. Clean, and not one issue. Academy has been getting a lot of blazer 115g for $13.89 a box. They also have PMC bulk box of 250 I believe for $70 bucks or so. Or if you want to just buy bulk you can find it around $315(shipped) per 1000 rounds. This seems to be the going rate these days. Just got to search around a bit. Ammoman has been carrying these bulk prices which include shipping. You should have no problem. Happy shooting!!

9mm has been good to find in Houston. Just picked up some target ammo and there was too many choices for jhp to look at today

Cabelas in buda is FULL of 9mm, local walmart is keeping stock fairly well due to the 3 box limit they still have.

Availability is there for now. Price has not recovered to pre-Sandyhook before Barry politic-ised it.

Academy typically has 100 rd boxes of Winchester white box for $26.99, and, Wal-Mart isn't far behind.
