    Reloading Shotgun Shells

As I approach my 68th birthday I compromised on my Mathews bow by reducing the limbs from 60-70 to 50-60. I have now compromised on my shotgun by going from a 12 to 28 gauge. It seems cost effective to reload 28 gauge. I know that Winchester AA can be reloaded several times, any other suggested shell types, Rio, Estate, etc

You can look up Reifenhauser straight wall hull load data and probably find what you need. Most of the cheaper shells use these style hulls(usually a straight walled ribbed hull). They will reload fine but will not last as long as the AA's or Remington STS's.

28g will be more expensive to reload than 20g just due to the higher price and difficulty in finding the hulls and wads. If you already have the hulls it won't be too bad. Ribbed hulls just won't load as many times before they start splitting at the crimp. Also check and see what kind of crimp you have. Most of the cheap ribbed hulls are 6 star crimp while most of the better smooth walled hulls like AAs are 8 star. I'd try to stick with one type so you don't have to change the crimper out all the time.
