Are pistol powders about like finding .22LR now?

I haven't searched for pistol powder in the past, but started to recently. I can find quite a bit of rifle powder in several of the more popular ones I use (IMR4064, Varget, H335, etc...) but I can't find Power Pistol or Unique anywhere in stock. The guy at Powderhorn told me yesterday that they don't get it in often, and when they do, it's sold out quickly.

Cabelas hardly had any powder the last time I went there. Only a few different offerings on the shelf, and it wasn't anything I used. No pistol powder at all. BPS San Antonio shelves are pretty empty most of the time. They had a few different ones I already have a decent stock of last time, but no pistol powder at all either.

I haven't had any luck either.

I need Titegroup and 300MP. Difficult to find either. When I do, it is 30-40% higher than it should be.

Yeah... I've noticed that too. I've overpaid recently for some powders that nobody else had, but I wanted.

I stumbled into some Unique at BassPro in Harlingen but I haven't seen any HP38/W231 in over year.

Houston reloading supplies usually has stuff in stock, but they charge a heck of a premium (like 30%).

I might need that in the future Mike. It is the only powders that I have "0" in my inventory. I have tons of brass, bullets, and primers for my pistol reloading. Just no powder. I'll keep searching locally this month, and then I'll venture out.
