    Just couldn't leave it alone!

I bought a RAR a few weeks ago, and am already bored with the plain black plastic stock. I decided to coat with a dark grey base coat, then use light grey webbing paint. Couldn't find any webbing paint while n Kerrville or Bandera last week, but did find some texturized paint at Walmart. Curious to see how it holds up.
Will submit follow up pics thru Tapatalk...

I used the same paint on a remington but used tan. Looks good, did yours stay kind of tacky

Sorta. Painted it Tuesday, clear coated it Wednesday, and it hung in the garage ( pretty sure it was over 100 degrees) all day. It definatley has a texture it it, but not too bad. It's not tacky (grippy), but it's not like hard, slick plastic either.
