30-30 Flex Tips

Before I started searching high and low... I thought I would check on here to see if anyone could point me in the right direction where I can find some 30-30 flex tip ammunition in Houston. I have not looked in a while, so it may be right under my nose at Academy.... I figured it was easier to check here first.

That is what I thought and what I discovered last time I looked... Gander Mt. had some but NOT with the fled tips.... or whatever the proper name is...

Ive seen it at academy. I bought the projectiles to reload my own at cabelas a couple weeks ago

I saw eight boxes of Leverevolution at Academy a couple of weeks ago and bought two of them. I drifted by there on the way home this evening and they had a bunch of Monarch 170 gr at 13.99/bx. I almost picked some up but decided not to. I have a bunch of Corelokts and Silvertips left over to shoot. I almost always see 30-30 at Academy.

We do not have a Cabelas in Houston do we? Kind of odd when you think about it...

I have never had any luck with this round. For whatever reason the bullets from my 30-30 never expanded and just poked holes in the 1 deer that I took with them.
