Henry .22 Lever action ejection problems???

Anyone else have problems with this rifle ejecting spent hulls? I've been having to dig them out with a knife, having double feeds when I work the lever, etc. Very disappointing because I love the gun and carry everywhere around my property. I've cleaned it, lubed it, etc. but looks like there's something wrong with the ejector/action. Anyone else had this problem?

Try replacing the ejector spring. They run about $7 and it fixed mine. Works like a champ now.

Easy to replace? Any special tools needed? Thanks Michael.

Remington ammo? My Marlin will do that with Remington ammo.

          I can't remember. I believe it's multiple types.

I emailed customer service and they want me to send the gun in. Not sure I want to go through that hassle if it's a cheap fix.

A friend bought one and had the same problem. The casing were splitting. I hate to say it but they are poorly crafted. Check your hulls for splits.

I love mine never had an issue.

Seems a lever action should shoot just about anything.

Happens to me with mine every now and then and found that if you just make sure to cock the lever really quick and all the way forward every time you load a new round it doesn't do it as often.

Friend of mine got one last year and had the same problem. Sent it back on Henry's dime and they fixed it and had it back to him in a week or so. Lots of rds thru it since with no issue. His is a 22WMR
