    Need some Reloading help

Newb here. I have just loaded my first 20 rounds. There seems to be an issue though. I have taken two pictures that hopefully give you an idea. I am loading 300 Blackout. I have 125 grain Speer TNT bullets. I am loading on a lee turret press using RCBS dies. After putting it through the bullet seating die I keep finding a small ring of copper that seems to have been edged off from the bullet during seating. I am curious if this is normal, something I am doing wrong mechanically, or a piece that I am using is incorrect? Thanks for any help or info

It looks like the expander ball may be just a little small. Are you using commercial or military brass? You may need to use an inside neck reamer. See how they feed and shoot. If all is well I wouldn't worry.

I would try the neck reamer, as said above.

You could use a chamfering tol, usually used with pictol brass, and chamfer the inside of the mouth of the brass. That will allow the bullet to go inside with out grabbing the edge.

Try chambering the inside of the necks and see if that helps.

Depending on how they cut and formed the brass, it may need to be chamfered.
