    What AR-10 to buy?

I'm looking into getting my first Ar-10 but not sure on what brand to go with or style.
I like the MP but not sure if in need/want a bull barrel.

I'm going to be using it at a deer/hog rifle.

Also what scope would y'all recommend. Thanks

I saw some advertised for $999, can't remember which brands. All the prices have fallen below the pre Great Gun Panic of 2013.

DPMS ar10 is good for the money, from what i gathered if you load you will get good accuracy. Factory loads you will get O.K. grouping.

Lots to chose from. I like the M&P10. It's light weight but still a good shooter. It's also fully ambi. I also like the CMMG CBR MK3. It seems like a great rifle for the money. I just sold my Sig 716 because it was a pig. Got a scar 17 and it's a keeper!

I've enjoyed my Armalite AR-10T. It's a tack driver with the Leupold Mark 4 scope. It's a bit heavy for a spot n stalk rifle, but it sure shoots nice. I put an adjustable gas block on it so I could tune it to shoot the Hornady Superformance ammo. it makes small ragged holes at 200 yards...

I would look at these. LaRue OBR, JP, LMT, and even though it is not an AR platform the SCAR 17S. All quality and very reliable.

Gap is on its own level imo... But google Rhino rifles too... Garenteed 3/8th at 100 or they send you a new one

That is true, I should of put GAP in that group. I knew I was forgetting something!

As far as optics go, I run a Leupold Mark 8 on my OBR with a H58 reticle. Love the combination. If you are looking for a little bit lighter scope look at some of the 1-6 or 1-8 optics.

So what is a good "used" price on the DPMS, just basic without all the "frills" to be added?
There's one in classifieds now....done a LOT of price checking and research but never owned one..."this one is advertised as NEW with no rounds fired."
