I have a weatherby sa08 i picked up from a fellow tbher about 2 years ago i used it all dove season (maybe even the last 2 dove seasons) nive shot ducks with it and shot alot of skeet with it. it has never failed me. it does kick a little bit compared to some other semi autos ive fired but not enough to hurt. im really happy with it and have been very happy with the reliability if fits me well/points well and i shoot it great. It light enough to carry around the field as well. I trust it enough that i quit carrying my benelli nova as a backup and actually got rid of it. We shoot clays regularly at creekwood in conroe and youd be welcome to try it out. i think youd like it.

Did you get the black or camo? Is the finish going to hold up?

its the wood version, it has a few dings in the wood but its a field gun, finish on barrell/action look fine, few scratches but it gets laid down in the back of the truck, leaned/occasionally scratched against a barbwire fence hunting etc. i treat it nice but dont baby it. its holding up pretty good.
