Shipping was fair & came out to about $0.40EA

I had been waiting for the PPU M855 but this was the same price & I think lake city is a Federal company...the IMI M855 s running about $0.50ea & cannot see paying the extra.

There is also some cheaper 55gr on there is you want a more economic round...I was hoping to find some M855 in the $0.35ea but not sure it will get back down there anytime soon & an extra $50 is not going to make me rich or poor.

Wideners is one of the more well know disty's...fear not.

Good to see M855 back on the shelves...

I have some of the lake city m855 and have never had an issue with it. We keep it as our "stash" ammo. Need a little more. I like the 55gr for general plinking and playing. Thanks for the heads up.

Pretty sure you are correct. Here is the same XM855CS product from 'cheaper than dirt' & it is labeled 5.56.

I don't think it can have a nato head stamp & be labeled M855 with 223 pressures...The X in front of the product number is supposed to to mean practice & not for combat I think??

I consider any loose bulk packed ammo to be more of my practice rounds anyway & think it has something to do with civy vs LE/military?? I just prefer to stay with the heavier bullets & why not spend a little more for penetrator??
