What Caliber did ya'll take to Africa

I took a .375 H&H and .458 Lott. Never took the Lott out of the case. The .375 (with Barnes TSX or banded solids) did everything I needed it to from duiker to cape buffalo.

Some ranches won’t let you use anything less than a .30 caliber. I took everything with a .308 & bow. I would tell you to bring the very best ammo you can. Also, if for any reason your ammo doesn’t make it, you can buy *average calibers locally...I was’t impressed with the quality of the brand I bought while there. I’d vote for the 30-06.
