    Bore guide?

How many of yall use a bore guide when cleaning your rifles? If you do which one do you have?

Just ordered the set that Tipton offers. Haven't used them in the past but for $25 it can't hurt.

rifle accuracy can easily be ruined by improper cleaning techniques , I highly recommend a bore guide along with a cleaning cradle, and coated cleaning rod

I primarily use Lucas bore guides and have a few of the less expensive versions from Bore Tech , Dewey, Sinclair, and Pro Shot

I have a Tipton bore guide that I use for mine. I bought all Tipton rods and jags as well. I just wanted everything to work together, and not have to keep up with a bunch of different brands of cleaning tools, and any incompatibility issues that may come up.

My buddy has a couple of Sinclair (I think) bore guides that are mighty darn nice. He has all Dewey stuff which is equally nice.

Mike Lucas is awesome to deal with too. One of the few people still out there that will send you the product without payment first(Harrell's precision is the other I can think of). Glad to know people can still afford to do that these days without getting burned.

If your brush can fit through the guide it is too dang big! :-) Stick and Speedy. Kind of like the Robert Duval thread. Who DOESN'T use guides?

I use the Possum Hollow o-ring bore guide. Simple and effective. I've used guides so much now that it feels strange to try and clean without one. Tipton Carbon fiber rod also.
