Shoulder holsters

Is there a good nylon shoulder holster that y'all have worn? Or should I go with leather??

only ones I ever had for my offduty weapons were made by bianchi and they were leather, hope this help

Something like the TBH-10 deserves something special. I'd have it hanging in a nicely done well made tan or brown leather of great quality, with two mag pouches on the strong side.

That's what I'm thinking Mike. Under a white linen jacket w/sleeves pulled up, blue tee-shirt, some killer Aviator sunglasses and sockless wearing loafers!! Don Johnson look out...

Seriously, horizontal (I think yes) or vertical? And which leathers have any of you worn? Comfort and drawabililty (just made that up...) is #1.

Ike had one for a 1911. I have looked at them online. I think I am gonna get one when I come up with the extra money to burn on it.

Mike, get a cheapie and see if you like it before ya spend the high dollar. I don't think you will like them though, I didn't, they are slow and awkward. Good luck with your search!

Ive got a couple UTG shoulder holsters... they are the less expensive nylon ones. 17 bucks shipped on ebay, they are well made and wont fall apart.

They work for what I need them for. Probably would be a good choice to buy before you spend the big bucks.

I used to carry a S&W 29 with 8 3/8 barrel in an Alessi and it was VERY comfortable and was fast access. I have not used their stuff for concealed carry, but if I were to go the shoulder holster route, that's where I'd start once I decided I wanted one. This is top quality. It is a good idea to try to buy a cheapie to try out first however.
