Mine showed received on the 11th of April, status has yet to change. Congrats on getting yours on the way! Didn't think the wait would bother me, but I am not one to be known as patient. One would think that with a security clearance, a background check would be a little "faster"....

I did the Wally walk when I first got my CHL and just knew everyone was looking. They weren't...
Now I dress for my gun. Currently carrying a 1911 daily even under a tee and no ones the wiser. Normally I'll wear a long sleeve shirt unbuttoned and untucked over a tucked tee with a Code-1032 IWB at 4:00.
Thinking about a light weight sport coat to wear and the carry options would then be endless.

Anywhere?? I very seldom see a 30.06 sign posted and if I do then I take my bidness elsewhere. Except hospitals. If I'm hurt/sick I don't think I'm gonna turn down care just cause they have a sign posted.

Make sure you look under all the cars surrounding yours for bad guys too. People often forget that one.

Very good habit to get into. Wouldn't hurt to check under the neighbors cars before you leave for work in the morning also.

My license arrived today! So I had to go shopping! My gun shop has the P938, but only in the rubber grip style (which is fine) or the Texas Edition (which almost looks too pretty to carry). I was set on the Scorpion. All they have in the Scorpion is the P238, which is a .380, and I really wanted the 9 mm. So, get the caliber I want or the style I want is the decision I have to make. The 9 mm rounds are cheaper and more readily available than the .380, from what I've seen around Austin.

I'd wait on the 9mm. But the .380 is nothing to sneeze at. I wouldn't want to get shot by it...
