Ruger mk11 bull barrell. Not the best looking pistol, but they flat shoot (mine is older). I had to put a scope on mine to find out how good it would shoot. Pretty easy to shoot paper clips at 20 yards.
They jam like crazy till you break them in with some high quality ammo. Every single one I've seen was this way including mine. Trigger is terrible. When it works its a fun gun. You're better off buying something else IMO
never shot one but I have an M&P 22 and I put 500 rounds of various 22(Federal AE, Remington Golden Bullet, CCI, and Aquila) through it today without one hiccup
I looked it over as well as the Walther and the Ruger SR22. I went with the Ruger because of one thing, the safety. You can grab the Ruger and flick the safety off with out changing your grip. Both the Sig and the Walther have the safety at the back of the slide and you have to change the grip considerably to get the safety off. My Ruger is a great shooter and I wouldn't take for it.
Check out the M&P 22, have seen the Sig have the jamming issues stated above. My M&P has had thousands of rounds of all kinds of ammo through it with no issues at all.
I like my Sig Mosquito just fine. It likes Remington Golden Bullets the best. The negative I found was the price of replacement mags. I do concur about the crappy trigger pull, but it works fine for Momma and the boys to shoot while I use a Ruger Single Six
Tons of mixed reviews on the Mosquito. There are much better choices IMO. With it being as hard as it is to find 22LR ammo much less a particular brand ammo, I wouldn't put up with the headache.
Get you a Ruger Mark II, Mark III or 22/45; or a Browning Buckmark; or if you just want a Sig 22 get their 1911-22 (even though it's made by GSG).
Life's too short to deal with an unreliable or picky gun.
As already mentioned there are better choices out there. I had one and sold it. It didn't jam on me very often, but the trigger is horrible. Sold it and bought a 22/45 lite which is a much better gun. I also have a browning buck mark which is also much better than the mosquito. I've heard good things about the sr22 as well, but never shot it.
