Aguila Standard Velocity Lead .22 LR

Has anybody used this? Is it any good? I picked up a couple of boxes of this at Academy at lunch for 3.99 for a box of 50. I looked online and most places want $7-8 for the same box.

Used to shoot the aguila match ammo during my 4h days, it shot well enough for my talent but it has a god awful smell compared to other .22 ammo but it does go bang which is all that really matters.

It does smell strange that is for sure. But like he said it goes bang. I have shot a few boxes and haven't had any problems with it

I love their .22lr calibre, doesn't have any gun powder just primer paste so all the gas expands in the barrel and turns your .22lr into a silenced high power air rifle. Killed quite a few nutria rats with em. Also good for cutting down on noise when shooting pistol in the basement . They seem to make good rounds. It's owned by Winchester and manufactured in mexico.
