    Muzzle devise for 700 5R.

I'm not liking the thread protector on my 20" 5R barrel. I also don't want the noise and concussion from a muzzle brake. What are my option? Yes, I want a suppressor, but it's not in the cards right now..

AAC breakout or anything threaded for a Ar15 in the caliber you want. Your options are limitless, just look around.

      For .308?

I have a brand new AAC 51T Hideout I will sell. And if you want to get rid of your thread protector let me know

FYI that gun should be threaded 5/8x24. That is not the standard AR threads. Just saving you some hassle.

Why not a brake? There are some pretty good ones out on the market these days. You don't get any of the blowback but some shooting next to you might.

Practically any muzzle device made comes with different thread pitches (unless its just made for 223). You can get any AAC break/flashhider threaded in 5/8x24.

I am pretty fond of my Troy Claymore brake. It directs all sound forward, and still is an effective brake.
