Which of these two would be your weapon of choice in a SHTF situation?

I have shot a few Glock's and I Don't have anything bad to say but I just don't like them.
I own 3 M&P's.2 Shields and a full size 9mm.Can't say enough Good things about each of them

I've shot and owned both in different calibers. You can't go wrong either way IMO, but the Smith just feels better in the hand to me and points much more naturally than a Glock, but that's from a 1911 guy. Ymmv.

Theres a reason that the gun section was added.......to keep gun posts out of the campfire forum......not so they could be posted twice as much.

DPS can't keep them running right. Might need to rethink your weapon choice.

Flip a coin, ford/chevy. Glocks don't have a good trigger but it is a lot better than the smith. Just my .02

Good for DPS. No one needs to be told to rethink their weapon of choice. If you aren't comfortable with a glock, or any other gun for that matter, it's not your go to. No matter who claims what gun is "the best ever". Just saying

That's unfortunate for them.Thanks for the advise.I will put it straight into my circular file bro.I have put more than a 1000rds into each pistol with no problems.My first experience with a Glock I had 3 stove pipes in 2 mags.
Like I said in my org post, wasn't bad mouthing Glocks just giving my Opinion.
Use the back button bud and move on if you having nothing positive to contribute.

Own both and have never had an issue with either, personal pref would be the Glock if I have to choose just one

Once you use it, if you don't like it, sell it and get something else.

Keep going until you find something you like that works for you.

Just sell what you have before you buy your next gun or you will just end up with a collection of guns you do not like. --- Just like the rest of us.


Think about magazine capacity, you use ammo with big bullets at the same rate as with small bullets. You just can have more bullets with small bullets.

I know you don't intend to miss at all, but we all do.
