One of my magazines is stuck in my Kimber...

The magazine seated but won't close and won't release. Won't budge a bit...

Can you remove the slide and push it out from the top? You could also remove the grips to gain access to the side of the mag.

Edit: is it locked in? The button just won't release it?

Yes sir...it's locked in and won't release or go into battery. I just pick this up yesterday from a friend of mine. I was testing each magazine for fit and this one stuck. To make it worse it was a full mag. It won't even load the bullet so I can cycle it empty.

What a bummer!!!

Holy cow...I finally got it out.

I had to hold the mag release and press hard downward to get it out. I think I'll throw this mag away.
