tell me about this scope

springfield armory 4-14x56 30mm tube, i bought a gun and this came with it.. didn't even know they offered a scope.. ill prob end up selling it and was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this or maybe a value on it.. will post a couple pics shortly

Older, mid 90's, made in Japan for Springfield. They have been compared to Leupold, but they're nowhere close, from my experience.

They sell for $3-400 used.

thanks i wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it, like i said it just was on the gun that i wanted so i figured i could sell separate to offset the gun cost a little bit..

Steve is correct but I think more in line of 200-300 on price. Glass is comparable to low end scopes. They only stopped selling them a few years back.

I've heard they're decent for what they are. I had an M1A that came with the exact same scope, but I never really tested it. It's still in a box somewhere in my gun room.

They're getting good prices for them on eBay, more than I thought. Might be able to offset the cost of that rifle quite a bit...
