How to remove magazine tube spring marlin model 60

Any one know how to remove the spring on these old .22s? The one in ours is weak and I ordered and received a new one but having heck getting the little pin drove out and afraid I am going to flatten it out. Got any tips on how to remove it?

No pic but I finally got it out just took a little bit of time. The piece I was talking about is the little pin that holds the cap on the actual tube you insert in the rifle. Knocked it out from the long side.
