    AR trigger question

I'm going to pick up my Daniel Defense M4V7 556 on tues., I'm trying to order a replacement trigger. Does anyone know if it uses the small or large pin configuration for the trigger? Thanks for the help!!

Small pin. Large pins were used on old colts recievers.

Yup, standard small pins just like Ecoboost mentioned.

No problem! What trigger did you pick?

I dropped a Timney 3.5# in my DD m4. Is really nice.
The stock DD trigger broke crisp but was really heavy (9lbs).

9#? Did you measure it or are you speculating? I've never seen a factory trigger over 7#, even the really crappy ones and I've never seen one that bad in a premium rifle.

The Chip McCormick drop in trigger is about the best trigger for the money. Easy to install and good quality.

I agree. I have the flat and the curved 3.5# triggers and I'm very happy with them! I like them better than my geissele.

I did measure it with my FIL's spring type gauge. He is a machinist and pretty good smith. I have since put that trigger in my "truck gun" with a set of enhanced springs and it runs about 4.5# now.

Wow, that's crazy and has to be a fluke.
