I'm probably going to replace the entire trigger group with a Volquartzen lower.
Mike have you used both the Kidd and Volquartzen trigger? I highly recommend the Kidd. It is better than most center fire bolt gun triggers I've played with. Well worth the extra money IMO.

I started with base 10/22 then changed to Tactical Solutions fluted/threaded barrel, Tac Sol V-block, Houge overmold, Volquartzen auto bolt release, Kidd buffer, Deadnutz mount, and Leupold 2-7x28.

Looking for some advise on trigger groups. The whole premise of this gun was to be a lightweight blaster for me or children. This isn't going to be a bench gun as I have plans for another build. KIDD, Volquartzen, Clark, or something else?

Not trying to highjack thread, thought there will be some good insight.

Take a look at rimfirecentral.com for everything you ever wanted to know about 10/22 customizations. I've done a few of the internal things to my two plinkers.
Cut down one of the synthetic stocks to fit my 9yr old, he is deadly on rabbits with it.
          Have fun with your build!

Been looking at barrels all day and am leaning towards a threaded barrel to accept a suppressor.

I assume the nfa trust is the best route. Would love to get some information from TBH'ers on the process what to look for and what it takes to get it all done right.

No doubt is go with a threaded barrel. Yes the trust route is the best. Do a search on here for suppressors and all that info. There is a ton of posts on it.

I'm enjoying seeing these pics. I need a new 22

ID:	24294017 Here are two of mine with tactical solutions barrels. I polished off the black finish on one and left the flutes black to match the can. Both are tack drivers. Both have hogue stocks.

I like this build a LOT. Still hunt able but accurate. Exactly what I want.

Than again, my son pulled off a 246 yard shot at a coke bottle last week with my bone stock 10/22 last week. Hard to try to improve on that

Here is one of mine. Ruger 10/22 USA Shooting Edition - with a host of Kidd parts. The stock is blue on the other side but really hard to get a good picture of the color. Really want a Kidd barrel and put this barrel on my 11 year olds but then that means a new stock for him too.....it never ends!
