Which of these do you recommend and why RCBS, Hornady, or Lyman gen 5.

RCBS charge master hands down. 2x+ faster delivery than the others including PACT.

All of them are good, although I always preferred the RCBS and threw the charge short then trickled powder to exact weight. Never trusted or liked throwing powder directly into a case. But then I was loading for accuracy not volume.

any of them are better than doing it by hand. Although I have the lyman, RCBS is the best

Like he says depends on if you are loading for accuracy versus volume. If you are gonna weigh each charge after throwing it the Lee Perfect Powder measure is good enough to get you close for most powders. I still weigh every charge. They are best to only set up for one type powder and charge. If you a loading several different calibers you'd be advised to buy one for each caliber or look at a programmable like the RCBS.
