    20 gauge semi-auto?

have been kicking around the idea, of picking up a cheap 20 gauge semi-auto. Cheap being the key word, $500 max. it would be used for skeet, dove, Sporting Clays, and maybe a duck hunt or two. don't mind buying used. What would you buy?

12 GA because you can load those light like a 20 GA and I think a box of 12 is cheaper than 20? Both are popular gauges.

I'd buy the Franchi Affinity if I could find one for $500. I've got the 12ga & LOVE it!

My 20ga is an 11-87 I picked up at Walmart one time for $250. It was on sale for $300 so I put it on layaway and when I went to pick it up, it'd been marked down to $250. Best gun purchase I've ever made, money wise.

Idk where you could find one that cheap, but i would go to a gun shop and look for a used rem 1100 or 11-87.

I bought my wife a Tristar G2 silver last summer new, I can't remember the price exactly but I wanna say around 600. Pretty nice little gun and fun to shoot she loves it. I've used it for sporting clays and doves with no complaints.

Since you already own a SBE, I would try and find a used M2 Field in 20ga. The odds of finding one for $500 is slim, but you know the quality and have experience with Benelli.

I bought an 1187 sportsman in 20ga from a TBH'er a few years ago... No frills, not pretty but it shoots anything you put in it, Great shotgun!!!

I bought an AKKar 20 GA semi Auto 2 years ago for less than $400 and it is a very nice gun. I have run several cases through it with no problems.
