    300 Blackout build price?

I see a lot of guys that have them and they interest me. I have never shot one, so I have no idea how they handle. What is the price of building a base one?

      300 Blackout build price?

I'm between $12 and $1500 on mine. I built it with middle of the road parts, to my standards.

I'm not a competition shooter, but I need it to stand up to harsh conditions as it serves its role as ranch rifle. It sits in the front seat of the truck, on the quad or UTV, and gets dusty or rained on when I'm out and about.

Ammo - I am shooting some custom reloads, they are cut down 223 cases and 110gr Barnes Tac-TX bullets (designed for the 300 BLK) I bought them for $1.50 each. That being said, I have been on a waiting list with both Barnes and Midsouth since last summer with an order of 500 of the Tac TX bullets from each, and neither has shipped yet. I am about to pull the plug and start developing loads for the Nosler 125 (probably the second most popular bullet among the supersonic shooters)

Last weekend I was fooling around, and shooting about 250 yards with my rifle. I managed a group that was under 2", shooting off a WorkMate portable bench and a rickety barstool. They are pretty dang accurate.

Parts are a whole lot more available than they were not too long ago. Lots of overstock being dumped off at the local gun stores.

I just built a .300 BLK, "base" model, for just over $800. It shoots under 1" with subsonic handloads. If you are able to assemble it yourself(too easy, really), they aren't really much more than building a .223/5.56.

Ammo, on the other hand... Good luck!

2 options for the OP : AR platform or Rem 700 AAC 300 BO

AR will cost you $800 to however much you want to spend

Rem 700 is priced at $650 from Buds

I went w/ the Rem 700 since I prefer bolt actions. I do own a DTECH custom built AR

I built my 300 at the end of the year when Palmetto had new years sales. Got the complete upper and complete lower for about $575. I added a millett 1x4 and a vortex cantilever mount. So far in just the rifle I have about $875 in it minus all the reloading supplies. It shoots great and I really think its going to be my go to pig/deer rifle.

That's a nice looking rifle. Who makes the hand guard? Looks real similar to my Nordic hand guard.
