Thats what I have on my G19... I have been eyeing this or the rubberized
texture for an XDS.

I put the rubberized version on my shield. definitely helps the grip. If it's going to be touching your skin(like in some concealed holsters) they recommend the rubberized version. I guess the sandpaper finish is a little irritating on your torso from what I read.
