If you could only own 1 rifle what would it be.
What caliber?
What scope?
What accessories?
Why?

Nothing fancy, a reliable tool that would stand up to abuse. 3 power scope with BUIS. A small light and a sling.
If the SHTF ammo should be easier to come by and it can serve me as a hunting and self defense rifle.

My Remington 700 VSSF 220 Swift with my Leupold 6.5-20 Leupold Dot reticle scope. Absolutely love that rifle and caliber.

My Remington model 600 Mohawk .308 with Redfield 6x variable scope that my grandfather gave me. It's priceless.
If I were to buy one- Browning X-bolt 30-06, walnut stock. Scope TBD.
