Subsonic 300 BLK MOA????

Just wondering what kind of groups y'all are getting with subsonic 200+gr pills at 100 yards.

I'm trying to decide if I'm chasing a ghost or what y'all have seen normally? 1", 2"...

And what is your platform and ammo choice?

Remington 700 AAC-SD. Getting about 3/4in with a round it likes. The cheep green box Remington 220 gets about 1 1/4in.

I got to shoot a 300 black out this weekend. I want one now. Dont know about groups but man there is a huge drop at 100 yards Sub sonic vs super sonic.

8.2" Noveske shoots 1.25" with remington. I haven't shot the handi rifle with a scope over 7 power. It's getting 1.5" with remington subs. I haven't done load testing on either yet....

lupy 1-4 scope and 10.2 noveske barrel with 208 amax is about 3/4 inch group. about to hand load some 200 and 220 smk to see what it will do. it loves the 125 nolsers bt for supers. my CMG 16 barrel the best i could get was around 1 1/4 groups. which is still ok bec with subs i dont plan shooting much past 100 yards.

Nope it must be that extra .2" that's causing you problems.

Mine is the 8" with 1:8 twist. I asked one of the technical guys if I needed to upgrade to the 8.2" with 1:7 twist when mine was in production and he said that the 1:8 barrels were shooting better.

we have more alike that what our names sound like. I plan on going with the 10.2 Noveske as well. For an SBR, that accuracy aint bad at all!
