Now that deer season is over I have a little time to wrap up some overdue gun projects. This one isn't overdue but I didn't want to be late. It's for Aaron's 12th birthday in April. Not sure I'll make it till then to deliver it. It's a Ciener 22 upper. It's not the adjustable sight top end that they do bit I'm sure he'll like it just as much. I put it on an STI cast 1911lower. I put on a Swenson low ride thumb safety, Wilson extend slide release, and an STI short curved trigger all for his small kid hands. Should fit him well. The grips are the thin tbh variety that we used on the tbh guns. I had a set left over unclaimed and am very pleased with how they look. My intention is to get him using this on steel. We have local 22 steel matches and I am looking forward to shooting with him. We have a lot to work on first. He is very good and safe when shooting pistols. He's shot several 1911 45's and other variations of pistols and calipers. Not much work with holsters or multiple targets and zero work on shooting and moving. We will be working on all that as his gun maturity develops. They grow up so fast.
