    Suppressor question

On top of the price of the suppressor. What would I look at spending for setting up a trust and the tax stamp of my first suppressor?

All ATF tax stamps for NFA items are $200.

Average prices for trusts (through an attorney) are ranging from $300-$500

You can also call and talk to the guys at central texas gunworks on 290 in austin very knowledgable. They have brochures on gun trust info and law firms that set me up and a range of suppressors.

Skip all the BS. Call silencershop.com in Austin. Awesome guys to work with. They can do it all. Trust, silencer purchase, ATF paperwork. You can be done in less than 30 minutes. Plus they have more instock cans than anyone right now. They also e-file your paperwork which is getting approved in about 100 days, that's a third of the time of paper file

You can get into a trust for 300 ( maybe less). The stamp is 200.

I've got 1400+ total in mine thru silencer shop. YHMTi Phantom.

Search the web for a family trust and pocket the $300 to $500. I received two (2) cans without any problems except the crazy 8 month approval.

So you are saying that I can put the cans in a normal (already setup) family trust and it works the same as a gun trust? Will that allow other family members to legally have possession of the cans? This could be interesting....

In a trust. U put trustees on it and anyone that's on the trust can be in possession of the can.

I'm not sure about family trusts it should be the same way. The only thing that scares me about these are the standard trust u would have made up for this is for NFA items and cover them specifically for liability etc.

Thanks for the heads up on that place. I was comparing prices yesterday and they are way cheaper than just about everyone else. I can almost get three cans for the price I had budgeted for two elsewhere.
