MMG, do they still even make primers for this model rifle ?

Nope, just have to get lucky and find someone who horded them and is now selling. I have about 300 factory rounds and 1,000 primers so I'm good for awhile. I am thinking about taking it up to the Tulsa gun show in April and seeing what I can get for it.

What the heck is it?

Etronix was a line of Remington 700 rifles that used an electronic ignition instead of a firing pin. The bullets are same any other except the primer. The rifle is the most accurate gun I have every shot. The advantage is that with an electronic firing system, as opposed to a mechanical one, the lock time is reduced from hundredths of a second to millionths or quicker. The trigger never actually "breaks", it just reaches a certain point that it releases an electrical impulse that fires the primer, so the trigger is very light and has no creep whatsoever.

This is a group of 5 at 100 yards factory ammo, with hand loads I can do a little better.

I use my trustly ol' Ruger M77 Allweather in .223 and Burris glass. Rarely do I get over a 200 yard shot at a yote to need much more gun.

Lol! Okay, I want to put a trigger in it and change the butt stock but that's it! A/R's are like Legos for adults. I've had this thing for 15 months and have never shot it.

I have a r-15 a savage 223 17 hmr but the creedmoor is my rifle cartridge. Anchors them but doesn't destroy em. But my favorite predator firearm is a shotgun with #4 buck. Gotta bring em in.
